| Students in their freshman year of college, with strong credentials and majoring in chemistry, chemical engineering, biomedical engineering, materials science, or a related discipline, are encouraged to apply. Participants must be U.S. citizens or permanent residents. This is a competitive program open to undergraduates enrolled in U.S. universities who have a 3.0 GPA or higher and enthusiasm for engaging in research. Students should have completed at least one semester of general chemistry and general chemistry laboratory by the time they enter the summer program. Students must be available for the entire program: June 1 to August 11, 2023. Previous research experience is not required. |
